Neoarch Studio is a research-driven design practice integrating art history, architecture, and cultural heritage within an interdisciplinary framework. Since 2018, Neoarch Studio has conducted national and international projects focusing on the documentation, interpretation, and analytical evaluation of cultural heritage, while establishing connections between historical knowledge and contemporary design processes. The studio operates with a forward-looking perspective grounded in historical awareness.

Founder & Design Director
Necdet Bekirhan SOY
Born in 1993 in Istanbul, he completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Art History and Architecture at Selçuk University.
His master’s thesis, titled “Traditional Approaches in 20th and 21st Century Mosque Architecture: The Case of Ankara”, critically examined the continuity of traditional architectural references within contemporary mosque design.
His academic and professional work focuses on architectural documentation, cultural heritage preservation, epigraphic analysis, and the reinterpretation of historical continuity within contemporary design discourse. His research has resulted in national and international academic publications, contributing to an interdisciplinary expertise in heritage and architectural studies.
As the founder of Neoarch Studio, he leads research-driven design strategies, defines the conceptual frameworks of projects, and oversees analytical and creative processes from development to implementation.

Melike DEMİRTAŞ
Born in 1994 in Ankara, she graduated from Ayrancı Aysel Yücetürk Anatolian High School. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in Art History and Architecture at Selçuk University. Her master’s thesis, titled “Fountain Architecture of Çankırı”, focused on cultural heritage and architectural history, strengthening her expertise in heritage documentation and analytical research.
She is currently pursuing her PhD in Art History, with research interests centered on cultural heritage documentation, conservation, and spatial identity analysis. She has contributed to various academic publications in the fields of art history, architecture, and heritage studies.
Within Neoarch Studio, she is responsible for coordinating design projects, leading research processes, and developing spatial aesthetic strategies. Her work emphasizes user-oriented, contextually grounded, and analytically structured design solutions.
